NUM//CRUNCH — Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2, 2026
Overview
NUM//CRUNCH is a free puzzle game developed by Eduardo Ruiz ("we", "us"). This policy describes what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Data We Collect
- Player name — entered voluntarily when submitting a score to the global leaderboard. Stored on our server alongside the score.
- Game scores — score, stage, moves, and time are submitted to the leaderboard when you choose to do so.
- Device token — a random identifier generated on your device and stored locally. It is sent with score submissions to prevent name impersonation on the leaderboard. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Advertising data — our ad provider, Google AdMob, may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Data Storage
Game progress, high scores, and preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Leaderboard data is stored on Cloudflare D1 (a serverless SQL database). We do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond the ad services described above.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — serves interstitial and rewarded ads. AdMob may use cookies and device identifiers for ad personalization and measurement.
Children's Privacy
NUM//CRUNCH is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Choices
- You can play the game without submitting scores to the leaderboard.
- You can reset your local data by clearing the app's storage or reinstalling.
- On iOS, you can limit ad tracking in Settings > Privacy > Tracking. On Android, you can opt out of personalized ads in Settings > Google > Ads.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
